Gorgeous work. How long does it take you to complete a piece with so many details?

Hi,

This is piece took around two months. I only work on weekends and the evenings and spend around 8 hours a night on this piece. The conception and drawing and everything took nearly half a month because the drawing has to be done in a way so that every piece is joined with the other. The cutting took quite a bit of time. This work requires a lot of patience.

This is, once again, a wonderful piece. I really like the interaction between the black and the blue. And it is possible to see the Persian influence in this piece as well. The idea that water feeds the roots and gives rise to all the myriad of flowers and leaves is a classic, but it is something eternal and universal.

Very well done!
